This event builds on the success of the Current Clinical Issues in Primary Care conferences previously offered annually in NYC by faculty from the Harvard and Columbia medical schools. Organized by the Department of Medicine at Columbia and our colleagues in family medicine, pediatrics and nursing, the Columbia Primary Care Expo will present generalist and specialist faculty from diverse disciplines and their approaches to common and can’t miss issues in primary care. General internists, family physicians, pediatricians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants and other clinicians who are at the front lines of ambulatory care will find at this conference up-to-date information they can use in their practices. Special plenary and keynote sessions will also offer expert insights on critical scientific, cultural and political issues in contemporary medical practice.
